Our client (a PSX listed firm) is one of the most admired names in large scale industrial manufacturing, based in Karachi. They are looking for ‘Head of Supply Chain’. Position will report to the COO.

QUALIFICATION:
– MBA (Supply Chain Management)

Preference for
– Qualified Engineer
– Additional Qualifications/ Certifications would be a plus.

EXPERIENCE:
At least +12 years of relevant experience with a firm where heavy goods warehousing, logistics, has been a major challenge.

JOB BRIEF
– Lead Organization’s overall Supply Chain operations including Procurement, Inventory Management, Selection & Management of Vendors, Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics.
– Develop Strategic Plans to improve Productivity, Quality & Efficiency of operations.
– Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
– Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
– Determine key supply chain KPIs
– Suggest solutions for process improvements
– Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
– Train and evaluate others
– Work with Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing teams.
– Build and maintain good relationships with vendors
– Other Initiatives
